Herbs like rosemary, chives and thyme bring distinct flavours and aromas that can enhance various dishes. Our flowers and fresh produce are grown using best practice farming techniques. We grow the Alstroemeria flower varieties and also farm Sugar snaps and snow peas. See below a brief introduction to each of our products

Herbs

1. Rosemary:
Rosemary is an aromatic herb with needle-like leaves and a woody fragrance. It's known for its robust flavour profile, often described as piney with hints of citrus.

2. Chives:
Chives are slender, green, grass-like herbs with a mild onion flavour and delicate aroma.

3. Thyme:
• Description: Thyme has small, aromatic leaves and a warm, earthy flavour with subtle mint and lemon undertones.
Uses: It's a versatile herb used in various cuisines, enhancing the flavour of stews, sauces, roasted vegetables, meats, and poultry.
Product Ideas: Offer dried thyme leaves in spice blends, seasoning rubs, herbal teas, infused honey, or even in natural skincare products like lotions and scrubs.

Flowers

Alstroemeria Flowers.

Alstroemeria flower are also known as “the lilies of the Incas”, they are mostly used in bouquets, arrangements and as wedding flowers. We grow the flowers under cover to minimize weather risk, they are picked and chilled as quickly as possible to maximize shelf life. The varieties we grow are Alstroemeria Red, Pink White and Yellow.

The market for Alstroemeria is at its peak during valentines, international women’s day, Mother’s Day and over Ramadhan.

Vegetables 

Fresh Vegetables (Sugar Snaps and Snow peas)

Sugar snaps also called snap pea is a pod pea with rounded shape and thick walls, in contrast to snow peas which are flat with thin walls. The term mange tout can apply to both the snap peas and snow peas.

Sugar Snaps

Sugar snaps can be eaten raw or can be briefly stir fried or be sautéed. They are sweater than snow peas.

Snow Peas

Snow peas are also known as Chinese pea pods and have flat pods with thin pod walls. They are eaten whole with both seeds and the pod. They are mildly flavoured and can be served raw or cooked.
